Overview
SpacECE Foundation is a mobile application concept designed to create a connected digital ecosystem for children, parents, volunteers, and administrators. The platform combines educational resources, child development tracking, community support, consultations, volunteering, and digital learning experiences within a single mobile experience.
SpacECE Foundation Mobile App
The project focuses on simplifying access to educational and support services while creating a consistent experience for different user groups. The application was designed with a strong emphasis on accessibility, clear navigation, structured information, and an approachable visual language suitable for children and families.
Design Objective
The objective was to design a unified mobile experience that makes educational resources, child development information, support services, volunteering opportunities, and community engagement easy to access.
The design needed to accommodate multiple user journeys while keeping the experience simple and approachable. The interface was structured around clear navigation, recognizable components, accessible information hierarchy, and consistent interactions across the application.
User Flow & Information Architecture
The application contains multiple interconnected journeys covering onboarding, administration, consultations, programs, learning resources, volunteering, support, communication, child management, and payments.
The user flow was created to understand how different users move through the product and how individual features connect with one another. Mapping these journeys helped establish the information architecture and identify the key paths users would follow throughout the application.
Wireframing
Low-fidelity wireframes were created to define the structure, hierarchy, and navigation of the application's key screens before moving into visual design.
The wireframing process helped validate the placement of content and functionality across different user journeys. Separate flows were explored for administrators, parents, volunteers, and general users, ensuring that each experience had a clear purpose and logical navigation structure.
